🪙 XAUUSD Weekly Technical Review & Market Outlook

Gold remains within the short-term bearish channel (light brown) while the long-term bullish channel (light blue) remains intact. Price has recently tested the lower boundary of the long-term bullish channel, making the current area an important decision zone.

For the coming week, USD 4,242 will be a key resistance level to watch. Due to the recent geopolitical developments in the Middle East, there is a possibility of bullish pressure or a gap-up when the market reopens on Monday. However, confirmation from actual price action is required.

Key Scenario

Gold may initially attempt to test USD 4,242.

If price is rejected at this level, gold could continue to fluctuate within the USD 4,105–USD 4,242 range.

If gold successfully breaks and sustains above USD 4,242, the bullish momentum could strengthen, opening the possibility of a move towards the next key resistance area around USD 4,398.

On the downside, USD 4,105 remains an important support level. A confirmed break below this level would increase the probability of gold testing the USD 4,021–USD 4,054 Demand Zone.

U.S. Economic Data
